Loki sends an endless mountain of snow falling over New York using his Crystal of Transference, when he is visited by Karnilla; They conspire to get the Plague Cask and use it to overthrow Odin; They send the Snow Giant to Earth to destroy Thor, but Loki is betrayed by Karnilla; Loki reluctantly seeks Thor's help and defeats Karnilla, smashing the Crystal in the process, causing the snow to finally stop.
