This issue has "Jubilee Comics" overprinted in indicia and includes material from Red Band Comics (1945) #1: Masked heroes, soldiers, and adventurers in a WWII-era anthology. Mystery novelist Kendall Richards becomes the crime-fighting Bogey Man (who looks just like The Spirit with a mustache) after gangsters target him for death. Strange chance leads young Joe Djerk to become apprentice to the Sorcerer, in a story featuring nice magical art and tongue-in-cheek humor, such as a wizard mentioning Cthulu. Novack Publishing.
