Wills (Branch of the Imperial Tobacco Co.). This card is part of the educational and beautifully illustrated "The Sea-Shore" series. Card Highlights: Front: A detailed underwater illustration showing a live Great Scallop with several Barnacles attached to its shell. Back: Features interesting natural history facts, explaining how the Scallop uses delicate filaments (tentacles) to sense predators and close its valves for protection. It also notes that these shells can reach a breadth of 4 or 5 inches. Condition: This card is in good vintage condition. The reverse is clean, though it includes the original "adhesive surface" notice intended for the collector's album some residue on reverse.
