All cards are in fantastic shape! Ainge was drafted out of High School in the 15th round of the 1977 MLB draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. He made his MLB debut with them in 1979. The 1981 Fleer card included in this lot is considered his rookie card since it was the first produced with him as a Toronto player. Ainge played for parts of 3 seasons with Toronto while also attending BYU and playing college basketball in the baseball off-season. He was then drafted in the 2nd round of the 1981 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, after which Ainge chose to concentrate on professional basketball and discontinued his baseball career. He played 13 seasons in the NBA, winning 2 championships in 8 years with the Celtics. Ainge finished his NBA playing career with Sacramento, Portland and Phoenix. He later coached Phoenix and became an executive with the Celtics. Included in this lot are 3 of his 1991-92 basketball cards issued when Ainge played for Portland. Will accept any reasonable offer.
